Act 29 of 1950/Legislation of Sec 8 Act of 2013, Govt of India and Also Associated with License no B-1205/mum/com/1000+/5/9419/2018 Approved by Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India for Overseas Employment.

SKILL EDUCATION AND WELFARE ASSOCIATION (SEWA) Council of Skill and Vocational Studies is a non-profit /self financed/private organisation with the vision to focus on establishing effective and efficient ecosystem for developing and imparting skills in the Indian Industry & Working Sector, through relevant content, curriculum. courses, information database, delivery systems, standardisation of the accreditation and certification process, to enhance the employability of the Indian workforce nationally and globally. Our Mission as an Autonomous & Voluntary Organisation is working for the development of literacy and creating awareness among the masses about Skill, Vocational, Science & Technological Education and striving for their upliftment in all spheres of life.

We impart skills & vocational based education programs, trainings and national/international employments to our students. We have also come up with short term vocational & skill training based certificate and diploma courses from SKILL EDUCATION AND WELFARE ASSOCIATION (SEWA) Council of Skill and Vocational Studies (A Non-Govt. Voluntary Skill Providing Institution) that is a Private Self Financed Institution, Established & Running Certificates, Diploma & Advance Diploma Courses for Jobs & Self Employment purposes. We Also Came in Existence with Higher Education University Degree Programs (B Voc. M Voc) With Many Specialization Recognition by University Grants Commission (UGC) Government of India

Over the past few years, SEWA has grown exponentially making its presence felt across the Twenty Eight states and Nine Union territories, training and certifying many youth by helping and making them employable, self- employable and empowered with Skill, Trade & Vocational Training Programs along with its respective Training Centres & Branches. SEWA has been formed for the common purpose of talent development for the Skill Based Private Sector and is dedicated to meet the demand for skilled workforce in the skill based work industry in India and abroad. SEWA ensures sector capacity building for availability of trained and skilled manpower across industry segments and organisation levels. SEWA is not in receipt of any grant-in-aid either from the Government or from any other Council Departments but it coordinates with all other skill based development & vocational training organisations across the country. The basic purpose of establishing SKILL EDUCATION AND WELFARE ASSOCIATION (SEWA) Council of Skill and Vocational Studies is to provide the masses with better life and make them self-reliant by encouraging Students and women in the remote areas by encouraging them with education and employment. It will be our priority to educate people by promoting technical education with Indian culture because the technical education plays an important role in the human resource development of the country by generating efficient mass power, increasing industrial production and improving the quality of life of the people. It will be our moral duty to honour the spirit of encouragement and excitement that will contribute to the field of education as well as technical education. It is our goal to develop education in the life of those who live in remote hilly areas by providing them technical education and the means of livelihood to connect with the mainstream of the country's development

This will be a holistic approach to uplift the overall quality for skill based education in private sector, with the Levelling up of the Private skills based education and training sector standards over the next few years, SKILL EDUCATION AND WELFARE ASSOCIATION (SEWA) Council of Skill and Vocational Studies aims to work with Social Welfare/Educational private organisations to promote the private skill based education and training in India.
