  Chandigarh University employs a robust and transparent system for conducting exams in its online programs. Here’s an overview of the exam process:-

  • Internal Assessment : Throughout the semester, students undergo various internal assessments, including hourly tests, quizzes, tutorials, surprise tests, and assignments. These internal evaluations contribute 30% to the final grade.
  • End-Term Exams: At the end of each semester, students take proctored online exams through the university’s Learning Management System (LMS), CU-VERSE. These exams account for 70% of the final grade
  • Evaluation Process: The university evaluates final exams through table marking to maintain uniformity. Additionally, 10% of the answer sheets are randomly reviewed by external experts to ensure impartiality. Students can also review their evaluated answer sheets and request a re-evaluation
  • Transparency and Fairness: The university’s examination system is designed to be scientific, objective, and transparent. Students can access their graded answer sheets and contest the results through an Evaluation Review Board if they disagree with the initial evaluation.
  • Practical Exams: The valuable exams contribute 40% to the total marks for courses requiring practical assessments, with internal assessments making up 60%.
