Program Overview
BAMS is a 5.5-year undergraduate degree that combines the traditional knowledge of Ayurveda with modern medical science. It is designed to prepare students as Ayurvedic physicians who can diagnose and treat diseases using holistic healing techniques.
The program includes 4.5 years of academic learning and 1 year of compulsory internship, offering deep insight into Ayurvedic therapies, herbal medicine, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and pathology.
BAMS graduates are trained in both preventive and curative aspects of health using time-tested Ayurvedic methods.
