Act 29 of 1950 / Legislation of Sec 8 Act 0f 2013, Govt of India and Also Associated with License no B-1205/mum/com/1000+/5/9419/2018 Approved by Ministry of External Affairs , Government of India for Overseas Employment.
SKILL EDUCATION AND WELFARE ASSOCIATION (SEWA) Council of Skill and Vocational Studies is a non-profit /self financed/ private organisation with the vision to focus on establishing effective and efficient ecosystem for developing and imparting skills in the Indian Industry & Working Sector, through relevant content, curriculum, courses, information database, delivery systems, standardisation of the accreditation and certification process, to enhance the employability of the Indian workforce nationally and globally. Our Mission as an Autonomous & Voluntary Organisation is working for the development of literacy and creating awareness among the masses about Skill, Vocational, Science & Technological Education and striving for their upliftment in all spheres of life.
We impart skills & vocational based education programs, trainings and national / international employments to our students . We have also come up with short term vocational & skill training based certificate and diploma courses from SKILL EDUCATION AND WELFARE ASSOCIATION (SEWA) Council of Skill and Vocational Studies (A Non-Govt. Voluntary Skill Providing Institution) that is a Private Self Financed Institution, Established & Running Diploma & Certificate Courses only for Jobs & Self Employment purposes. These Diploma & Certificate courses not related to any other Govt. Schemes or Council Departments. All the Diploma & Certificates provide by SKILL EDUCATION AND WELFARE ASSOCIATION (SEWA) Council of Skill and Vocational Studies are not equivalent to any other Institutions Program. Our Diploma & Certificate courses are only for Self Job & Employment Purposes and not for Higher Education.
Over the past few years, SEWA has grown exponentially making its presence felt across the Twenty Eight states and Nine Union territories, training and certifying many youth by helping and making them employable, self-employable and empowered with a certificate/diploma from the certifying body SKILL EDUCATION AND WELFARE ASSOCIATION (SEWA) Council of Skill and Vocational Studies in Skill, Trade & Vocational Training Programs along with its respective Training Centres & Branches. SEWA has been formed for the common purpose of talent development for the Skill Based Private Sector and is dedicated to meet the demand for skilled workforce in the skill based work industry in India and abroad. SEWA ensures sector capacity building for availability of trained and skilled manpower across industry segments and organisation levels. SEWA is not in receipt of any grant-in-aid either from the Government or from any other Council Departments but it coordinates with all other skill based development & vocational training organisations across the country. The basic purpose of establishing SKILL EDUCATION AND WELFARE ASSOCIATION (SEWA) Council of Skill and Vocational Studies is to provide the masses with better life and make them self-reliant by encouraging children and women in the remote areas by encouraging them with education and employment. It will be our priority to educate people by promoting technical education with Indian culture because the technical education plays an important role in the human resource development of the country by generating efficient mass power, increasing industrial production and improving the quality of life of the people.
It will be our moral duty to honour the spirit of encouragement and excitement that will contribute to the field of education as well as technical education. It is our goal to develop education in the life of those who live in remote hilly areas by providing them technical education and the means of livelihood to connect with the mainstream of the country’s development. For this, short term camps will be conducted and certificate courses will be provided. SEWA does not guarantee in any way the acceptance of its certificates/ diploma by any government department or others and no suit can be filed against SEWA for non acceptance of its certificate/diploma by any government department or others.
This is a small step to decide on your participation in Skilful India, but by making a meaningful effort with sincere and transparent thinking, we will continue to make every effort to make it a milestone. Courses of N.T.T., P.T.T., NPTT, Aanganwadi, early childhood education etc. will be run under this scheme along with skill based courses of computer operations, DTP, tailoring, handicraft, small scale industries courses will be operated and vocational courses specially focusing on health work, social work, community health work, art and crafts etc. This will be a holistic approach to uplift the overall quality for skill based education in private sector, with the Levelling up of the Private skills based education and training sector standards over the next few years, SKILL EDUCATION AND WELFARE ASSOCIATION (SEWA) Council of Skill and Vocational Studies aims to work with Social Welfare/ Educational private organisations to promote the private skill based education and training in India. We welcome all education entrepreneurs, teachers and others to join us and spread this nobel mission of education.
